Admission Process
2009-10
(FOR class XI STUDENTS)
Introduction :
The admissions to class XI (ISC, New Delhi
curriculum) are done purely on the basis of
the board result secured by the candidate
and as per the admission criteria set by the
school management after declaration of the
results every year.
Provisional admission would be offered the
candidates who are coming from the boards
other then the Council (CISCE) in the
streams as per the admission criteria. The
admission will be confirmed only after
acquiring Eligibility Certificate from the
Council, New Delhi.
Admission Criteria (For the academic year
2008-09) :
For SGVPians, ICSE, CBSE & IGCSE students:
Science stream - 60% and above in science
subjects and 70% aggregate
Commerce stream - 60% and above aggregate
For students from any other board not stated
above:
Science stream - 65% and above in science
subjects and 70% aggregate
Commerce stream - 65% and above aggregate
Submission of documents & payment of fees :
Documents to be submitted along with
Admission Form: School Leaving
Certificate/Transfer Certificate duly signed
by the Education Officer of the board
concerned, original mark-sheet along with an
attested photocopy (original mark-sheet will
be returned after verification) & Migration
Certificate.
Authentic & authorized certificate for
SC/ST/OBC/Baxi Panch should be submitted
along with aforesaid documents if
applicable.
Selected candidates are required to pay the
first term fees along with the admission
fees within three days of the confirmation
by cheque/DD drawn in favour of "SGVPGA"
payable at Ahmedabad. Failing which, the
school reserves the right to cancel the
admission.
Class XI admission for SGVP students :
Re-admission to class XI for the students
who have appeared in the ICSE or IGCSE
examination from SGVP also would be strictly
as per the admission criteria set by the
school management.
The students must fill-up & submit the
Re-admission/Registration Form and should
make payment of first term fees within a
week after the results are declared in order
to confirm their admission in class XI. The
school reserves right to reject Re-admission
requests thereafter.
