Based on Pujya Guruvarya Shastri Madhavpriyadasji Swami’s inspiration and under the guidance of Pujya Purani Swami Balakrishnandasji Swami, to mark Mahatma Ghandiji’s 150th birthday celebration year, on 29th September between 7.30 am to 11 am Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul Ahmedabad had organised a cleanliness campaign to clean both sides of Gurukul Road from Gurukul to Vishramnagar.
On 09 Sep 2019, Jal Zilani Mahotsav was celebrated with great fanfare near the ancient holy shrine of Droneshwar Mahadev and Kastabhanjan Dev. Pujya Guruvarya Shastri Shree Madhavpriyadasji Swami and Pujya Purani Shree Balkrishnadasji Swami have blessed the occasion through their presence.
Just day before the Mahotsav, river Manchchhundri was flooded with heavy rain but due to God’s grace the flood subsided with no damage. The Mahotsav was celebrated as planned. Saints placed the Murti of Maharaj on the boat and floated across the river.
