A
traditional Sanskrit Pathashala has
been established with the highest
intention of preserving and
promoting the Sanskrit language with
its purity and chastity, where
students will undergo the study of
Sanskrit language in the ancient
traditional system, specialising
Nyaya, Vyakarana, Mimamsa and
Vedanta. The students who will be
selected at the age of 12 will
undergo a rigorous study of Sanskrit
as well as modern education such as
English, Computer science, Music,
Yoga and Meditation for a minimum
period of 10 years, will become the
future bridge builders of ancient
wisdom and modern science. They will
be specializing in Vedas,
Upanishads, Puranas, performing
sacrifices, delivering Puranic and
philosophical discourses, teaching
and Research areas. The boarding,
lodging, clothing, Textbooks, and
other basis needs for these students
will be provided free of cost by the
institution itself, and they will
not be charged even a single paisa.
The
Darshanam Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya
started functioning from June
1998.
The Mahavidyalaya has been
affiliated to the Rashtriya Samskrit
Sansthan of New Delhi
established under the auspices of
the Ministry of Human Resource
Development, Government of India.
The Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan has
designed a complete curriculum of
Sanskrit studies from Std. 6 to the
level of Post Graduation (
Prathama to Acharya ) conducts
examinations on yearly basis and
awards certificates. The Sanskrit
studies are accompanied with English
as one of the language, regional
language, Mathematics, Science and
Social Studies up to the level of
Std. 10. Then focused is brought
to Sanskrit along with English and a
regional language up to the level of
B. A., then the full focused on Sasnskrit specialising any one of
the various branches of Sanskrit.
