On Nov. 8, 2002, Friday the 4th Satsang Sadhana Shibir at Rushikesh (Paramarth Niketan) was inaugurated in a highly devotional and pleasant ambiance. At 9:00 am Mahapooja was performed by Sdg. Shree Devkrishnadasji Swami and Sdg. Shree Madhavpriyadasji Swami. Both of them made archa of Chandan mutually and to other saints also. Senior saints did the archa on the forehead of all devotees along with kirtan ‘Dharmakunvar Harikrishnaji tame..’. The chandan was the prasadi of Lord Shree Badrinarayan. Both elder saints sprinkled Abhishek Ganga Jal over devotees along with Swaminarayan Dhoon. Pujya Devkrishnadasji Swami recommended to memorize ‘Dharmakuvar Harikrishnaji tame..’ kirtan and recite daily as Pujya Shastriji Maharaj was doing daily in pooja during dandavat. All devotees accepted it with great happiness. After the Narrative song of Akshrdham – ‘Kotan Koti...’ as a part of Anushthan all the participants performed 11 mala of mantra-jap. At 11:05 am Shree Chidanand Saraswatiji well known as Muniji ,Chief of ‘Parmarth Niketan’ arrived in the assembly with the students of Parmarth Niketan. Pujya Prabhucharan Swami brought to light his great affection towards Gurukul and its activities. In his discourse Pujya Muniji talked about the greatness of sant-samagam and also talked about H.H. Shastriji Maharaj’s inspiration of Gurukul in the Himalayas. More… At this occasion Pujya Balkrishnadasji Swami reminded that the inspiration to start the Gurukul, the award of title ‘Sadvidya Saddharm Rakshak’ and Rushikesh Shibir – the three great tasks of H.H. Shastriji Maharaj fulfilled in the lap of Himalayas. After offering Thal and Mansi Pooja participants had Bhojan Prasad at noon.
