Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul Vishwavidya Pratishthanam Chharodi
SGVP International School

August 3, 2003 Students of Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul Vishwavidya Pratishthanam (SGVP) – Chharodi participated in the Subrato Memorial rural football tournament played at S.C. Patel School, Sabarmati, Ahmedabad and emerged with silver medal.

The students participated in under 14 Volley Ball Tournament, played at C. N. Vidyalaya, Ambavadi, Ahmedabad on 29^th August 2003 and emerged with 2^nd Prize.

Karate Competition was organized by Diannio Marshal Arts, Ahmedabad at Rosary School, Shahi baug on 7^th September 2003 for under 17 Age.

About 300 students form 80 different schools of Ahmedabad had participated in the competition. From SGVP following students participated and won Gold and Silver Medals.

District Sports Authority had organized Swimming Competition for under 14 at Gujarat Vidyapith on 10 September 2003. Following students of SGVP, emerged as the winners.

District Sport Authority, Ahmedabad had organised football tournament for under 14 being played at SGVP International School – Chharodi, on 12^th September 2003. Five teams had participated in this tournament. Finals was played between SGVP International School V/s A K Bavla Higher Secondary School, SGVP International School won the match by scoring 6-0 goals and emerged as the winners of the tournament.

The leading daily news paper SANDESH had organized Dance Competitions at zone level on 28^th September 2003, Sunday at Karnavati Club on the eve of Navaratri festival.

The competition drew large number of participants. Our students of SGVP International School Parekh Ravi B. studying in 7^th and Patel Siddharth R. studying in 8^th bagged the first prize in Duet Dance. They will participate in District level competitions.

DARSHANAM SANSKRIT MAHAVIDYALAYA - CHHARODI

‘Bharat Vikas Parishad’s satellite branch had organized National Group Songs Competition in the program of on 30^th Aug. at Thakorbhai Hall, Ahmedabad. 26 schools had participated in this competition. Students of SGVP-Chharodi won the first prize, Bharat Vikas Parishad, Satellite branch awarded a trophy and certificate to the students of school.
The group song, ‘Hum Balak Hindustani’ was presented by Vyas Nikhil, Joshi Hardik,, Joshi Vishal, Bhatt Hiren, Bhatt Jagdish, Jani Swastik, Bhatt Suraj, Mehta Nahush and Pandya Siddharth.

August 8, 2003. You will be delighted to know that on 5^th and 6^th Sept. 2003 at Dakore, Regional Sanskrit Elocution Competition was held under the auspices of Sanskrit Sahitya Academy, Gandhinagar. All the four saints who participated in the competition have successfully made it to the top by creating a record.

Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan, New Delhi is holding the finals on national level at Rajsathan. Students who have won the first prize will be representing Gujarat state in respective subjects.

Sanskrit Bharati Ahmedabad, organizes Sanskrit Elocution Competition for school and college students every year. This year on 3^rd Aug. 2003 Vyas Harivansh Studding in UttarMadhyama First Year (has won the 1^st Prize in Sanskrit Elocution Competition conducted this year.

Students from Darshanam Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya & International School had participated in the District Level YOGA Competition on 7^th October organised by ALL INDIA SPORTS COUNCIL at the premises of Shree Panchsheel Secondary School , Katosan near Kadi-A’bad.

Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul – Surat

Recently various in-door competitions were held in Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul Primary and Secondary school – Surat.

English Medium

In the Elocution Competition the 1^st prize was won by Hadiya Chetan V. of 6^th standard, 2^nd prize was won by Makadia Raviraj M. of 6^th standard and the 3^rd prize was won by Patel Smith B. of 5^th standard.

In the Essay Competition the Tilara Jay P. of 7^th standard won the 1^st prize, Ahir Sagar K. of 6^th standard won the second while Patel Jignesh I. of 5^th standard won the 3^rd prize.

In the General Knowledge Quiz Competition Yellow House group bagged the 1^st prize.

In the Khokho Competition Yellow House group bagged the 1^st prize.

In the Best Teacher Competition Untadia Jay B. of 6^th standard bagged the 1^st prize while Hadiya Chetan V. bagged the 2^nd prize.

Vaghasiya Ankit J. of 5^th standard bagged the 2^nd prize in the Yoga Competition conducted by SPORTS AND ADVENTURE SOCIETY of Surat.

Secondary School

Korat Nilesh Balubhai bagged the 1^st prize in the district level Elocution Competition organized by Saurashtra Samaj.

Chalodiya Rajesh won the 2^nd prize and Patel Vishal won the 3^rd prize in the song competition and Desai Hardik J. shared 2^nd prize along with Togadiya Rajesh D. in the Drawing Competition organized by Hindu Milan Mandir on the eve of Ganeshotsav Celebration.

In the district level, Kabaddi, Khokho and Football matches were organized and following students have been selected to represent the team at state level.
