Gurukul Rajkot, hosted the 41st Brahmsatra from 15th
Aug to 21st Aug, 2003.
On this special occasion, Shreemad
Bhagavat Saptah Parayan Gyanayagya was organized and Shree
Brijeshbhai Rajabhai Lohana of Bombay, had sponsored the Saptah in
the memory of A.N. Dadima Ramaben Kamalakant Lohana, A.N. Bhagini
Ketkiben Rajabhai Lohana, A.N. Nana Ramchandra Shivdas Thakkar, A.N.
Nani Ansuyaben Ramchandra Thakkar and A.N. Kuva Rasiklal Laljibhai
Thakkar.
Haribhaktas
were greatly delighted to seek the blessings of Sdg. Shastri Shree
Madhavpriyadasji Swami, who had travelled all the way from America
along with Sdg. Purani Shree Gyanswarupdasji Swami after cutting
short the ‘Videsh Satsang Yatra’ .
15th Aug, First day of
Satra, in the morning ‘Shobha Yatra’ was taken out by saints along
with Haribhaktas. The procession arrived at the ‘Sadhuashram(Katha
Place)’ after having halted at the school ground to attend national
flag-hoisting programme.
‘Pothi Poojan’ was performed and Arti
was offered, thus marking the auspicious beginning of ‘Brahmasatra’
and ‘Shreemad Bhagavat Katha Saptah’.

Purani Shree Gyanswarupdasji Swami spoke on the ‘Granth-Mahatmya’.
Sdg.
Shastri Shree Madhavpriyadasji Swami and Sdg. Purani Shree
Gyanswarupdasji Swami who were the chief orators, along with Purani
Shree Madhavjivandasji Swami and Purani Shree Krishnapriyadasji
Swami delivered memorable, enlightening discourses daily in two
sessions which enthralled the Haribhaktas.
Purani
Shree Hariswarupdasji Swami gave a mesmerizing speech on ‘Updesh and
Charitra Katha’.
Everyday in the night the Haribhaktas
were entertained with varieties of cultural programmes.
It was a rare opportunity definitely
not to be missed at all. |
