In Sanskrit Scriptures Sishya – the follower says -- 

‘I was born in the darkest ignorance and my Guru, spiritual master opened my eyes with the torch of knowledge. I offer my obeisance unto him’.

 ‘Guru Purnima’ is one of the most important occasions in the spiritual life of a devotee or disciple. It is grand occasion & opportunity to glorify & worship Guru, show sense of gratitude and indebtedness.

 Maharshi Vyas is the Parama Guru for the Vedic world or Sampraday. It is from Maharshi Vyas the flow of Vedic knowledge starts. On this day Vyasji gave his ever first discourse on Vedic knowledge there by establishing Guru Parampara for the benefit of human kind.

 At Rajkot gurukul, on Sunday the 13^th  July 2003 elder saints, students of Alumni associate along with Haribhaktas had glorify, worship Sadguruvarya Pujya Shastriji Maharaj, Pujyapad Shree Jogiswamiji and Pujyapad Shree Kothri Swami Shree Harijivandasji Swami and show sense of gratitude and indebtedness.

Presently Sdg. Mahant Swami Shree Devkrishnadasji Swami and Sdg. Shastri Swami Shree Madhavpriyadasji Swami abroad, nourishing Satsang. On this auspicious occasion Haribhaktas had a rare opportunity to celebrate Gurupurnima in a grand manner in the presence of both Sadgurus. Devotees of USA celebrated this holy occasion at New Jersey in holy presence of both the Sadgurus. On this auspicious day a ‘Sanskar Kendra’ was also  inaugurated at New Jersey.

At all branches also Guru Purnima was celebrated.

Can anyone witness a better occasion than this to seek the mercy of Guru and blessing of Govind?
