Grand Celebration of
Jalzilani Mahotsav
On the
way to Una, 5kms from Fatasar is Drone, very popularly known as
Droneshwar Mahadev located on the bank of Machchhundri river.
For the
past 12 years Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul Rajkot, celebrates
Jalzilani Mahotsav on grand scale. It is a matter of great pride to
know that founder of Gurukul Sdg. Shastriji Maharaj very often
visited this place and encouraged Satsang activity. Result of this
can be seen today as hundreds of Haribhaktas are engaged in Satsang.
By the
grace of Lord Shree Swaminarayan this year we had good
monsoon. P. P. D. D. Shree Rakeshprasadji Maharaj graced the occasion
hence the whole atmosphere was filled with joy.
Bhagwan Shree
Swaminarayan was adorned on a beautifully decorated float from
where every one could have Darshan of Lord. P.P.D.D. Shree Rakeshprasadji Maharaj had taken seat on beautifully decorated Buggy
in the procession stretching to 5 kms. Music Band and various
Raas-groups
were the part of the procession. When the procession reached the bank of Machchhuandri river Haribhaktas from
more than 50 surrounding villages
welcomed the precession joyfully.
Haribhaktas were performing Abhishek, dhoon, bhajan and raas along
with Jayghosh of Bhagwan Shree Swaminarayan playfully.
Maharajshree and Saints after the welcoming
ceremony Jalzilani Utsav began. After
this in a beautifully decorated boat Maharajshree with Shreeji
Maharaj
entered the boat. Offered arati to Thakorji and Ganpatiji. People
were amazed by this beautiful scene.
Acharyashree expressed his happiness for being in the Jalazilani Mahotsav,
celebration. He has sanctified many temples and encouraged satsangis and
is continuously giving the benefits of satsang.
In the
end Acharyaji stressed the importance of Jalazilani Utsav. He said
that on Ekadasi it is not only fasting but we are to be free from
the
enticement of 10 senses as well as the
that of mind as mentioned in Vachanamrut. Acharyshree Rakeshprasadji Maharaj said that may lord
Shree Swaminarayan
bless all, the next Jalazilani utsav celebration be on much higher
scale.
Shree
Swaminarayan Gurukul saints who are engaged in propagating the
principles of ‘Sadvidya’ and Shree
Swaminarayan Gurukul. is giving top most priority to true education which
is an integration of ancient culture and modern education.
Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul Rajkot, is spreading the
principles of Sadvidya as propagated by Lord Shree Swaminarayan
Bhagwan, whose main aim is imparting value based education
(incorporating ancient Indian culture with modern education) had
organized a Yuva Satsang Shibir for the first time in Europe.
Purahi ShreeKrishnpriyadasji swami had successfully organized the whole
progamme.
On this
auspicious occasion Junagadh temple board chairman Purani Shree
Devnandandasji along with other saints attended the celebration.
Haribhaktas from more than 50 villages of Una, Nagher and
Babariyavad area took the benefit of this celebration.
After
performing the 4th arati, various prasads were
distributed to more than 30,000 Haribhaktas who had gathered around.
Banana, Cucumber and Melon (Chibhada) were part of the prasad, and
more than
5000 kgs of 'Siro' was distributed.
Yajmanship
was taken by Shree Dhirubhai Babariya (USA)and Shree D.K. Shah
(Mumbai) and others. |
