Sharad Poornima was celebrated on Thursday,
the 9th October at SGVP Chharodi on a grand scale.
A special stage was erected on this occasion.
Lord Shree Swaminarayan was the center of attraction on the
beautifully set stage. To His left were the senior Saints & Guests
mainly comprising of Govt. Officials, Businessmen, Political
-Leaders & NIRs.
The program began with lighting of Lamps by
Sdg. Shree Devkrishnadasji Swami amid Vedic-chants. First Arati was
followed with Birthday -Celebrations of Sdg. Shree Gunatitanand
Swami.
Various Raas like Sangit Raas, Sorathi Raas,
Guru Vandana Raas, Talavar Raas, Dhodi Raas, Paramhans Raas and
Group Raas along with Yoga and other cultural presentations were
presented on the stage by students of A’bad Gurukul and Chahrodi
Gurukul.
At this holy occasion two Murtis of Ghanashyam
Maharaj - Chharodi were released. An audio cassette and CD named
‘Anand Sagar’ was also released with the songs composed by Sdg.
Shastri Shree Madhavpriyadasji Swami and sang by Shree Hasmukhbhai
Patadia.
Both the publications were released from the
holy hands of Sdg. Mahant Swami Shree Devkrishnadasji Swami.
Celebration attained its peak during Paramhans
Raas performed by saints when Pujyapad Shree Jogi Swamiji bestowed
his divine Darshan.
Sdg. Mahant Swami Shree Devkrishndasji Swami
in his speech narrated the importance of celebrating Sharad-
Poornima & blessed all the participants. Sdg. Purani Shree
Balkrishnadasji Swami and Sdg. Purani Shree Dharmavallbhdasji Swami
also narrated occasional speech.
Samooha-Raas (Group-Raas) was performed by all
devotees, followed with forth Arati. In the end more than five
thousand devotees and guests had the delicious Prasad of Dood-pauva.
It was certainly one of the most memorable
events of the year. |
