Chaturmas means a custom of celebration of various religious – cum – spiritual events. In monsoon the rivers, ponds etc get filled with fresh water and the nature smiles in full blossom. In such a divine atmosphere the devotees celebrate Jal-zilani Ekadashi on Bhadarva Sud Ekadashi to swing the God in the beauteous river and ponds.
Saints and devotees in great numbers had assembled at Machchhundri river to celebrate Jaljilni Ekadashi this year also near the ancient shrine, Droneshwar Mahadev, situated near Una. Even in the season of incessant rain the saints and seekers had done Ras-kirtan and had the divine Drashan of Thakorji in boat to move in water. They offered four Arti and offered fresh vegetables.
Sadguru Shastri Shree Madhavpriyadasji Swami explained the significance of celebration and Sadguru Shastri Shree Devkrishnadasji Swami offered blessings to inspire the devotees. A blood donation camp was also arranged during the festival.
