It is the issue of honour for Gurukul that Sdg. Purani Shree Devprasaddasji Swami awarded as a ‘Jewel of India’ by ‘International Institute of Education and Management - New Delhi’ a well known institute in the field of Education. Institute moreover awarded Shreee Swaminarayan Gurukul – Hyderabad with ‘National Gold Star Award’. Awards were distributed by Election commissioner Shree Krishnamurti, Shree B. Satyanarayan Reddy (Former Governor - Orissa & U.P.) and Shree Bhishmanarensinh (Former Governor – Tamilnadu) on July 19, 2004. The members of institute have secretly inspected Gurukul along with many other schools of the nation and selected Gurukul Hyderabad as a best for this award.
Sdg. Mahant Swami Shree Devkrishnadasji Swami and Sdg. Shastri Swami Shree Madhavpriyadasji Swami blessed Pujya Devprasaddasji Swami with congratulation for such feat.
It is to be noted that Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul Hyderabad was awarded as ‘Best School in A.P.’ on March 4, 2004.
