THE RAIN OF GOOD FEELINGS AND BLESSINGS ON
GURUPURNIMA AT RAJKOT.
Ashadh Sud poonam is celebrated as Gurupurnima
all over India. On this day Guru must be worshipped by the disciples.
It is our Indian tradition.
On this day at Rajkot Gurukul, Gurupoojan was
held in presence of large numberof devotees. The saints from all
branches were present here.
Celebration started with musical warm welcome
to Param Pujya Sadguru Mahant Swami Shree Devkrishnadasji Swami
and Param Pujya Sadguru Shastri Swami Shree Madhavpriyadasji Swami.
All devotees welcomed them with Jayghosh of Shree Swaminarayan
Bhagawan.
Worth seeing poojan was done by senior saints
of Lord Shree Hari and His wooden Paduka. They also worshipped
Durudev Shastriji Maharaj Shree Dharmajivandasji Swami with
Chandan-kumkum and blossoming flowers. Both the saints performed
poojan of pujyapad Shree Jogi Swamiji with flower-shawl.
It was the memorable moment, when both the
Sadguru saints embraced each-other and garlanded. Thousands of eyes
performed this divine Darshan with full of tears.
A book written on Pujya Jogiswami’s life, by
Sdg. Shastri Shree Madhavpriyadasji Swami was inaugurated in this
function by Sdg. Mahant Shree Devkrishnadasji Swami. Not only this but
also the audio cassette named ‘Guru Vandana’ part 1 and 2 was declared
opened by Kothari Swami Shree Harijivandasji Swami. All the bhajans
are sang by Niranjan Pandya as well as Hasmukh Patdiya. It is a great
pleasure that these bhajans are in ancient tine and are written by
Pujya Madhavpriyadasji Swami.
At this time totally new dining hall was
inaugurated by Pujya Shree Jogi Swamiji. There was a nice dance with
drama based on Guru-poojan by students of Surat Gurukul. It was really
charming and attractive. Occasional speeches in Sanskrit and Spanish
languages were delivered by the students of Darshanam Sanskrit
Mahavidyalay from SGVP- Gurukul Chharodi.
There was a touching meeting of alumni of
Gurukul in presence of Sadguru Saints and under the guidance of Purani
Shree Dharmavallabh Swami. He said that alumni are the real wealth of
Gurukul. |
