In the pious presence of Pujyapad Shree Jogi Swamiji 28th Gyansatra was arranged at Gurukul Ahmedabad from August 18 to 24, 2004. On 17th August Pothi-yatra had been started from the home of Yajman. Sdg. Purani Shree Gyanswarupdasji Swami and Purani Shree Krishnapriyadasji Swami narrated the Katha of Bhagawat with great interest. Purani Shree Krishnaswarupdasji Swami and Shastri Shree Haripriyadasji Swami had also related in assistance. Bhagawat Katha was discoursed in the morning and afternoon. Sdg. Mahant Swami Shree Devkrishnadasji Swami blessed the devotees in his sermons for the betterment of human life.

Many other spiritual and social activities were also arranged along with Bhagawat Katha. Everyday during 02:45 pm to 03:30 pm, there was a Kirtan-bhakti along with musical aids. On 22nd there was a blood donation camp. On the same day there was an assembly of alumni of Gurukul. Assembly was addressed by Sdg. Purani Shree Dharmavallabhdasji Swami and Pujrani Shree Hariswarupdasji Swami. They stressed on the true objectives of alumni and benevolent features of ‘Swaminarayan Mahotsav’ to be celebrated in the month of March, 2005 at Gurukul Surat.

On 24th there was an inspiring assembly for lady-devotees in the holy presence of Sankhya-yogies. Daily in the last session of the day various cultural as well as competitive programmes were arranged. Quiz on Vachanamrut, oratory, antyakshri on Sanskrit Shlokas, dances, drama, mime, patriotic programmes, etc. were enjoyed by each and everyone.
Honour of Gurukul i.e. ‘Jewel of Nation’ award to Sdg. Purani Shree Devprasaddasji Swami and ‘The Best School’ award to the School of Gurukul Hyderabad was also greeted with great pleasure. Shree Arvindbhai Patel – Sahajanand Laser, was honoured and blessed on acquiring president award from the president of India in the field of Science and Technology.
A blessing message from Sdg. Shastri Shree Madhavpriyadasji Swami (UK) was read out in the assembly. Telephonic messages from Sdg. Purani Swami Shree Bhaktiprakashdaji Swami (USA) and blessings letter from Sdg. Purani Shree Shreeharidasji Swami (E. Africa) were also presented in the assembly.

Pujyapad Shree Jogi Swamiji blessed all yajman and also Pujya Balkrishnadasji Swami on this auspicious occasion. Holy presence and divine Darshan of Pujyapad Shree Jogi Swamiji got all saints and devotees full of pleasure.
During the Gyansatra publications of 1) Calendar for 2004-05 2)Santvaryanu Samarthya (book) 3)...........4).............. and 5) Pocket size Vachanamrutm were performed from holy hands of Pujyapad Shree Jogi Swamiji, Sdg. Mahant Swami Shree Devkrishnadasji Swami and Pujya Kothari Swami.
Shree Kamaleshbhai R. Shah, his son Tejas - Kantawala family (Canada) was the chief yajman of this Gyamsatra. A.N. Shree Fulchandbhai Padhara family (Ahmedabad), Shree Ravjibhai Haribhai Jiyani family (Australia), A.N. Shree Kanjibhai Dayabhai Thakkar family (Dholaka), A.N. Shree Valjibhai Savjibhai Motaka, Shree Savjibhai family were the Co-Yajmans of Gayanstra. Along with Bhagwat Katha five Sanhita-path were also performed.
