On 4^th March, 2004 in a glittering ceremony held at Shree Tyagraj Gnyan Sabha - Hyderabad ,Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul was adjudged as the Best school among the twin cities of Hyderabad & Sikanderabad as under the educational area of Moinabad Mandal, Gurukul is running school with various educational & social activities. Effective teaching is done using audio- visuals, computers, large library & latest laboratory. Facility for playing games like cricket, volley-ball, basket-ball, foot-ball, hockey, kabaddi, kho-kho & skating etc. is available.  

Pujya Shree Devprasaddasji Swamiji received the Best School of State award on behalf of Gurukul.

This grand event was celebrated as the 15^th Annual Day of ‘Shilpa Art Creation’.

Hon’ble Minister for Temple Board Committee, Shree Dandi Shivarama Raju in his speech reminded everyone about one’s self responsibility & duty towards protecting our rich culture. He also said that if anyone is working for protecting our culture then that credit should go to Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul only.

He also appreciated the educational system adopted by Gurukul for effective teaching by making use of computers & aiming to build good character by educating students on subjects like history & religion. He also expressed his happiness over the various facilities provided to the students.

Shree I.G. Gopinathji, Ex. M.V.C. Shree Ramchandraji, Shree P. Anjireddy & Shree Harikishanji attended this program & made the function successful. 

Among the various cultural programs presented, Bhangra Dance & Pyramids by the students of Gurukul added colors to the dazzling evening.
