			Kalyankari Mahotsav - GurukulSurat

	Pujya Shastriji Maharaj decided to do 3.5 crore chanting of Mantra (Mantrajap) on the bank of Narmda nearly 63 years ago. He decided to do Yagna as a ‘Purashcharan’ after having a Darshan of Vishnuyag conducted beside the river Narmada at that time. Pujya Shastriji Maharaj instead of doing 3.5 crore Jap performed 10 crore chanting of Mantra (Mantrajap) and by the wish of Shreeji Maharaj he had done a fabulous celebration continuously for 21 days at the temple of Junagadh.

	After the Aksharnivas of Pujya Shastriji Maharaj, the senior saints has decided to do and also inspire the people to do Bhajan at the time of ‘Asthi Visarjan’ in the river Narmada at same place. Since then flow of Bhajan increased enormously by means of Mantra-jap, Mantra-lekhan, Dhoon, Kirtan-bhakti and other aspects. Thus, the place is having a historical significance in the history of Gurukul. In the same tradition, ‘Kalyankari Mahotsav’ was celebrated by Gurukul Surat on 3rd November ’05 on the auspicious day of Bhaibij at same place on the bank of river Narmada (at Chanod-Karnali).

	In the holy presence of HHDD Acharya Maharajshree Rakeshprasadji Maharaj and Pujya Jogi Swami, with the inspiration Sadguru Mahant Swami Shree Devkrishnadasji Swami, Sadguru Shastri Swami Shree Madhvapriyadasji Swami and under the guidance of Pujya Shree Dharmvallabhdasji Swami Mahavishnuyag (108 Kund), group Mahapooja, Annakut, Abhishek were performed in the bed of Teriveni-Sangam.

	A warm welcome was given to HHDD Acharya Maharajshree Rakeshprasadji Maharaj, both Lalji and saints from Vadatal. Pujya Maharajshree placed the holy fire in Yagna-kund with the holy flame of Arati from Vadtal temple. 228 Yajmans took part in this Vishnuyag. Pujya Maharajshree and saints performed the Arati of Annakut prepared with 156 varieties of food dishes.

	In the purnahuti of 3352 group Mahapooja, Arti was performed by HHDD Maharajshree, Pujya Jogi Swami and senior saints. Pujya Dharmvallabhdasji Swami had done the rituals of royal-Pooja by the offerings of Ashta-Upchar to Thakorji.

	In this Mahotsav, 1059 saints, youths and ladies had taken an oath to do 3.5 to 14 crore Mantra-Jap and Mantra-Lekhan personally.

	Bhakta-chintamani written by Sadguru Shree Nishkulanand Swami has completed 175 years and the appearance of Shreeji Maharaj on earth has completed 225 years. In that accordance a Sahajanand Mahotsav will be celebrated in next year. Pujya Dharmavallabhdasji Swami enlightened salient features of the Sahajanand Mahotsav.

	One of those is reading of Bhakta-chintamani. So the beginning of reading Bhakta-chintamani was carried out by HHDD Maharaj Shree and subsequently saints & devotees continued it for anushthan of Bhaktachintamani. Pujya Jogi Swami started the Anushthan of Mantra-jap.


	Mahapooja - Van		Land Donation

	One more feature is group Mahapooja. Sadguru Mahant Swami Shree Devkrishnadasji Swami, Sadguru Shastri Swami Shree Madhvapriyadasji Swami had done the inauguration of the Mahapooja-van to be used for group Mahapooja during Sahjanand Mahotsav.

	Twenty two youths started on foot (Kavad-yatra) after taking the water of Narmada in pots for the abhishek on the Patotsav of Shree Harikrishna Maharaj at Vadatal on 13 Nov 2005. Services to Dev in temples created by Shreeji Maharaj are always a part of Gurukul activities. Now onwards a garland of flower from Gurukul Surat will be offered to Shree Harikrishna Maharaj at Vadatal in early morning daily.

	Shree Arvindbhai Ambalal Patel presently staying in America donated 24000 sqfts land at his village Kalali to Gurukul and handed over the papers of Registration to Pujya Mahant Swami Shree Devkrishnadasji Swami. In Navsari Gurukul, 43 Adivasi Children get education and morals free of charge. Shree Chetanbhai Sheth (Mumbai) has adopted 25 kids for one year. Pujya Maharaj Shree and Pujya Jogi Swami showered on them their blessings.

	With an intention that the dream of Gurudev Shastriji Maharaj is materializing, Pujya Madhavpriyadasji Swami showered his blessings. Pujya Devkrishnadasji Swami extended his blessings. Pujya Purani Swami Shree Bhaktiprakashdasji Swami gave to Narmada the name of Satya-Sankalp-Sarita. Pujya Balkrishnadasji Swami told the importance of the place due to relation of Gurudev and Maharaj. Pujya Dharmallabhdasji Swami conducted the ceremony systematically.

	At last Pujya Maharajshree and saints offered oblations (Last Ahuti) in Vishnuyag. After the Abhishek of Thakorji Pujya Maharajshree, saints and devotees took holy bath in river Narmada.

	Nearly fourteen thousand devotees have taken Bhojan – Prasad. In the end Pujya Maharajshree, Saints and devotees had done the boating in Narmada and thus concluded the ceremony.
