Satsang Maha-sammelan - Gurukul Surat

On the pious land of Vadtal Gadi established by Bhagawan Shree Swaminarayan, a marvellous ‘Shree Harikrishna Maharaj Mahotsav’ will be organized next year, by the joint efforts of Shree Swaminarayan Temple, Vadtal and Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul, Rajkot. In accordance with that Mahotsav a chain of holy Satsang Maha-sammelan at various zones will be arranged. The first Maha-sammelan was carried out at Gurukul Surat on 18^th Dec’05 in the holy presence of HHDD 1008 Maharajshree Rakeshprasadji Maharaj and senior saints of the Sampraday.

     Sadguru Mahant Swami Shree Devkrishnadasji Swami, Sadguru Shastri Swami Shree Madhavpriyadasji Swami, Sadguru Shastri Shree Nautamprakashdasji Swami (Chairman, Vadatal Temple), Pujya Kothari Shree Narayanprasaddasji Swami (Rampura Temple, Surat), Sadguru Shastri Shree Nilkanthcharandasji Swami (Kalakunj Temple, Surat), Sadguru Kothari Shree Haripriyadasji Swami (Dabholi Temple, Surat), Sadguru Kothari Shree Vishnuprakashdasji Swami (Kubernagar Temple, Surat), Sadguru Kothari Shree Harivallabhdasji Swami (Amroli Temple, Surat) and other Saints and Haribhaktas had swore an oath to celebrate ‘Shree Harikrishna Maharaj Mahotsav’ by rendering their services to the best of their abilities. Sadguru Purani Shree Dharmavallabhdasji Swami presented a detail description of the Mahotsav.

HHDD Maharajshree lit up the lamp and inaugurated the Maha-sammelan. He told that the celebration of Vadtal is arranged by the wish of Shree Harikrushna Maharaj. Therefore the saints and Haribhaktas of the Sampraday should gird up their loins to render their services with utmost devotion. This Mahotsav will be exactly like the celebrations of Shreeji Maharaj.

Shastri Shree Nautamprakashdasji Swami said that both the Acharyas had taken an oath to carry out a memorable celebration of ‘Shree Harikrishna Maharaj Mahotsav’ on the divine earth of Vadtal. This Mahotsav will work like a miracle and ever memorable occasion to every one.

Kothari Shree Neelkanthcharandasji Swami requested for giving grand success to Mahotsav at Vadtal and said that wherever the grace and inspiration of Shreeji Maharaj, blessings of Maharajshree, guidance of saints and zeal of Haribhaktas are there then that celebration will definitely leave an impression of memory on mind.

Shastri Swami Shree Madhavpriya Swami said thet the holy Sankalp taken on the bank of river Narmada by Maharajshree and saints is the Sankalp done by Shree Hari. The core of entire Sampraday is Shree Harikrishna Maharaj. Narmada is a Ganga of Gujarat, so the Sankalp taken on its bank is very much constructive. Such a Mahotsav which is full of service, dedication and remembrance (Seva, Samarpan & Smaran) will definitely satisfy Shree Hari, Pujya Shastirji Maharaj and all saints.

Mahant Swami Shree Devkrishnadasji Swami blessed that we all are very fortunate to be a part of this Mahotsav. This Mahotsav will be glimpse-giving of Virat-narayan. To do and to take part in good deeds is the principle and ideal of Maharajshree. We have to make the life memorable by implementing this ideal in our daily life.

A Shakotsav was organised as a part of this Maha-sammelan. Maharajshree himself cooked the brinjal in a large vessel. Thus, divine occasion of Shakotsav celebrated by Shreeji Maharaj before two hundred years at village Loya, in which He Himself cooked the brinjals for Shakotsav, was memorised.

Nearly twenty thousand Haribhaktas were present in this Maha-sammelan and wonderful response was observed. Pujya Dharmvallabhdasji Swami told that service and surrender are the two wings of this Mahotsav. Over 20,000 volunteers will serve for the in this Mahotsav.

Useful educational VCDs were distributed to the schools of rural areas.

 The announcement to open 11 Satsang centers was done. Devotees had taken Prasadam of Shakotsav after assembly.

Shakotsav & Group Mahapooja - Gurukul Navasari

The facilities of Gurukul are provided to Adivasi children at Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul, Navasari. 45 children are taking education with Sanskar (Moral Value of life) at free cost. A celebration was conducted on 20th December’05 in Gurukul.

On this occasion of Group Mahapooja, over 925 Haribhaktas had taken advantage of participation. Adivasi students of Gurukul and devotees offered a warm welcome to HHDD 1008 Maharajshree Rakeshprasadji Maharaj and saints in a traditional way. Pujya Maharajshree performed the Arati of Mahapooja and adorned the swing throne in the assembly. Maharajshree had given the Guru-mantra to the Adivasi students and children from forest areas. Parents’ meeting of rural area was also conducted on this occasion. On being inspired by Pujya Narayanprasaddasji Swami, the parents had taken an oath of not eating and drinking of non-veg. and liquor. Maharajshree and elder saints blessed all parents and devotees. Students of Gurukul had pleased the Maharajshree, saints and devotees by traditional song and dance.

Maharajshree cooked brinjal for the Shakotsav. Nearly five thousand devotees of Navasari and nearby areas of 20 villages had taken an active part in this celebration. At last the devotees had taken Shakotsav Prasadam in Ambawadi of Gurukul.

At noon Pujya Maharajshree performed the Arati of Hanumanji at nearby village Kolada.  On His way to Dharampur Shreeji Maharaj had stayed here one night with devotees and had performed the Arati of Hanumanaji.

In the holy presence of Pujya Maharajshree mobile medical services, free food distribution etc. were carried out in that area.
