First Pratishtha Mahotsav - Gurukul Mumbai

During 17th Nov. 2005 to 24 Nov. 2005 the first Pratishtha Mahotsav of Shree Ghanshyam Maharaj, Shree Lakshminarayan Dev & Shree Radhakrishna Dev at Gurukul Mumbai was celebrated along with various spiritual and social activities.

With the blessings of Pujyapad Shree Jogi Swami, Pujya Sadguru Mahant Swami Shree Devkrishnadasji and Pujya Sadguru Shastri Swami Shree Madhavpriyadasji Swami Mahotsav was guided by Pujya Purani Shree Krishnaswarupdasji.

With the poojan of Shree Harikrishna Maharaj Samhita Parayan of Shreemad Satsangijivan – religious book of Swaminarayan Sampraday with divine deeds and sermons of Bhagawan Shree Swaminarayan, Sam-ved – one of the four Vedas, basic scriptures of Hinduism and 18 Purans created by Bhagawan Shree Ved Vyas were started by learned Pandits.

18 Purans – Brahm Puran, Vishnu Puran, Shiv Puran, Padma Puran, Narad Puran, Markandey Puran, Agni Puran, Bhavishya Puran, Brahmvaivart Puran, Ling Puran, Varah Puran, Skand Puran, Vaman Puran, Kurma Puran, Matsya Puran, Garud Puran, Brahmand Puran and Shreemad Bhagawat Puran,
     

 

Poojan with 1.25 lakh Tulasi and Mantra

  

Jal-yatra
     

  • Worship of Shree Harikrishna Maharaj and Paduka of Shreeji Maharaj was performed with 1.25 lakhs of Tulasi-patra along with recitation of Jan-mangal mantras.

  • Pathi-Yatra and Shree Hari-geeta Katha-parayan.

Shree Hari-geeta katha was arranged from 22nd to 24th of Nov. On 22nd Pothi-yatra was started from the home of Shree R.K.Patel, Yajmanshree.

Purani Shree Krishnapriyadasji Swami along with Purani Shree Prabhucharandasji Swami, Pujya Shree Dhrmavallabhdasji Swami, Pujya Shree Narayanprasaddasji Swami narrated Katha of Shree Hari-geeta.

  • Jal-yatra and blood donation camp

On 23rd Nov. at 06:00pm Jal-yatra for the Abhishek of Shree Ghansyam Maharaj and Dev was arranged.
At 07:00pm 200 saints and devotees donated blood as a social duty.

  • Abhishek & Annakut

On 24th Nov. Abhishek of Shree Ghanshyam Maharaj, Shree Lakshminarayan Dev and Shree Radhakrishna Dev was performed with Panchamrut, Kesar-jal, Tirth-jal of Narmada – Godavari and various herbs along with Vedic Stotras and Mantras.
Sadguru Shastri Shree Madhavpriyadasji Swami performed Arati of Abhishek and blessed all Yajmans.

  • Saints offered Bidu (last Ahuti) in the Vishnu-yag

  • A wonderful Annakut was arranged with delicious dishes.

Saint-poojan was followed by Brahm-poojan. Saints and Yajmans performed the poojan of Pandits of Samhita-parayan and over hundred Brahmins and all devotees took the Prasad.
