Swaminarayan Mahotsav - Gurukul Surat

  
         
 

      ‘Swaminarayan Mahotsav’ was celebrated at Shree Swaminaraya Gurukul Surat, one of the branches of Gurukul ever sounding with incessant Dhoon, Mantra-lekhan, Yajna, Sanhita-path, Ved-Parayan along with various social, medical and educational activities.

     With the blessings of Pujyapad Shree Jogi Swamiji, inspiration of Sadguru Mahant Swami Shree Devkrishnadasji Swami & Sadguru Shastri Swami Shree Madhavpriyadasji Swami and under the significant direction of Sadguru Purani Shree Dharmavallbhdasji Swami, Swaminarayan Mahotsav was celebrated in a highly devotional atmosphere from 23rd March to 27th March, 2005.

     1008 kund Mahavishnu-yag, 1008 Maha-poojan, Abhishek & Annakut with 1008 dishes, 251 Kirtan – sankirtan-bhakti, 108 hours Raas, Medical camps, Bal-Yuva-Mahila Manch, Audio-visual presentations, Pushpa-dola-utsav, Rang-utsav were the salient features of the Mahotsav, Laks of devotees and citizens took the benefit of this grand festival.

     108 hours incessant Raas was started from 22nd March.

  • In the last session of the day, Educational officer Shree P.B. Gadhavi unveiled the curtain of Bal-manch. Students and the teens from the Bal-manch presented various inspiring cultural programmes.
