9th Annual & sports day - Gurukul Hyderabad

On 15th January, 2006 Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul, Hyderabad celebrated its 9th Annual & Sports Day.

The warm welcome of Chief Guest Shree Narendra Kumar Goyal, chairman of Agrawal Shiksha Samiti was done with drum-beats and salutations with March Past was performed.  The celebration lamp was lit up by Sadguru Purani Shree Devprasaddasji Swami and Honourable Chief Guest to start the grand function.

As the last event of sport day, final Skating Competition was held and in the beginning of the celebration a Group Action Song was performed by every student to revitalize the spirit of the presentaion of few fascinating cultural dances and breathtaking fights of ‘Teak Won Do’, Sadguru Purani Shree Devprasaddasji Swami threw a light to tell the Importance of Gurukul & Vision i.e. Vidya, Sadvidya and Brahmvidya to the Assembly. He said that Gurukul always sticks to the Vision, and imparts this knowledge to each child and provides the best of all contemporary learning.

‘Sang Ka Prabhav’ the drama, reflected the importance of good company and formation of Pyramids and passing through burning ring caught the eyes of all.

Honourable Chief Guest appreciated the performance of all students and extended his gratitude. He honoured the winners by awarding them gifts and prizes.
