Needless to say, to usher the seekers into the path of ultimate redemption,
Sadguru Shastriji Maharaj Shree Dharmajivandasji Swami started
the tradition of Brahmsatra at Gurukul Rajkot.

In this tradition 44th Brahmsatra was performed from 12 August to 17 August, 2006. Along with various spiritual events, Anushthan of Bhajan was also arranged as in the current year our beloved and great saint Pujya Jogi Swamiji completed 101 years.

On 12 August, 2006 after the Shobhayatra of Thakoraji, inauguration of Brahmsatra was performed with the Poojan of Thakoraji by Sadguru Mahant Swami Shree Devkrishnadasji Swami and Sadguru Shastri Shree Madhavpriyadasji Swami with Tualsi-patra and recitation of Janmangal. Pujya Madhavpriyadasji Swami explained the importance of Brahmsatra and Anushthan of various spiritual activities in the present age, especially for young generation .

After the morning Pooja, group recitation of ‘Purushotam Prakash’ was followed by Arati-Stuti-Prayer and Dhoon. Subsequently in Satsang-Pathashala the lucid explanations were given on various topics of Sampraday. After the group recitation of Bhaktachintamani, erudite saints addressed the devotees in ‘Adhyatmik Vyakhyan-mala’ with inspiring stories of great saints and devotees. This morning session was ending with the   sermons of senior saints on ‘Nishkulanand Kavya’.

On the Utthapan of Thakorji, devotees enjoyed the delightful Kirtan-Bhakti daily.

In the second session Purani Shree Krisnapriyadasji Swami delivered the Katha on Harililamrut. Participants got the advantage of holy sermons of Param Pujya Shastriji Maharaj projected with the help of audio-visual equipments. The second session was ending with the motivating blessings of Sadguru Mahant Swami Shree Devkrishnadasji Swami.

After the evening Arati-Stuti-Prayer, in the last session of the day, young saints narrated the divine deeds of Shreeji Maharaj and inspiring events of devotees. Darshan of various shrines visited by Shree Nilkanth Varni and a display explaining the supremacy of Shreeji Maharaj were presented. Moreover, various quizzes & stage competitions were organised by the members of Bal-Manch and Yuva-Manch.

On 16 August, the day of Janmashtami, various cultural programmes and Raas were presented. At mid-night Pragtya-Arati was performed by senior saints. Participants enjoyed the celebration of Janmashthami in the atmosphere of great zeal and devotion. On this celebration of Janmashthami, an exhibition was put up, showing the various events of Bhagawan with animated sculptures, light & sound show and a range of stunning scientific mechanisms.

On the occasion of completion of 101 years of Pujyapad Shree Jogi Swamiji, over 101 devotees performed 101 hours Mantra-lekhan, Manta-jap and 101 recitation of Janmangal Stotra, Pradakshina, Jap-Mala etc., to please Shreeji Maharaj and Pujyapad Shree Jogi Swamiji.

During the Brahmsatra 1) A VCD  - 'SAMP TYA SHANTI', delivered by Sadguru Purani Shree Gyanswarupdasji Swami 2) Two calendars with stunning Murties  of Shreeji Maharaj were released by holy hands of Sadguru Mahant Swami Shree Devkrishnadasji Swami.

Devotees of various villages and Junagadh, Ahmedabad, Surat, Mumbai and other cities got the benefit of this divine Brahmsatra.
