Value based life oriented spiritual as well as social arrangements of the society is the most precious gift of great Rushies to India and the world as well. This is because the fundamental traditions and thoughts of Indian culture are coming true even in this age of Science and fast development. There is the prime contribution is of Maharshi Ved Vays. Moreover in this pious tradition of knowledge, a great significance of Guru has been established on the way of betterment. Due to such obligations of Guru we offer obeisance to express reverence and invoke prayer to honour Jagatguru Mahrshi Vyas Muni on this auspicious birthday.
To celebrate the Guru-vandana a congregation was organised at Gurukul Rajkot in the holy presence of Pujyapad Shree Jogi Swami and Sadguru Mahant Swami Shree Devkrishnadasji Swami. The day was started with the Abhishek of Shree Ghanshyam Maharaj at prayer hall early in the morning. Elder saints performed the Abhishek with Panchamrut, Kesar-jal and Tirtha-jal. The Abhishek was followed by the offering of marvellous Annakut. Devotees and alumni in huge number took the benefit of both the divine events.
Guru-vandana was inaugurated with the by recitation of Janmangal Stotra along with offering Tulsi to Thakorji. After prayer and Vandana-song the senior saints performed the Poojan of Gurudev Shastriji Maharaj Shree Dharmajivandasji Swami and Purani Swami Shree Permprakashdasji Swami and felt a great satisfaction.
Pujya Purani Shree Gyanswarupdasji Swami, Pujya Purani Shree Balkrishnadasji Swami and Pujya Purani Shree Dharmavallabhdasji Swami gave the ceremonial speech and revived the memories of Gurudev. After the blessings of Sadguru Shree Devkrishnadasji Swami, guests, students and devotees had performed the Poojan of saints. On this occasion of Gurupooja and Guruvandana the alumni and devotees participated from various districts and villages of Gujarat, cities of India & abroad and experienced the contentment. |
