On the occasion of Sharad Poornima and the fifth annual Pratishtha Mahotsav of Shree Ghanshyam Maharaj a grand festival was celebrated under the guidance of Sadguru Purani Shree Balkrishnadasji Swami at SGVP on 07 October, 2006.

On 06 October, evening sacred water for the Abhishek was brought from the Adalaj Vav, a Shreeji-Prasadi step well. Saints welcomed the holy water and Jal-Yatra was taken out in Kumbh, Kalash and Kavad.

On October 07th, in the early morning at ‘Sahajanandam’ saint-nivas Maha-pooja and Abhishek was performed according to Vedic tradition. Devotees took the privilege of the divine Darshan of Abhishek with 108 Aushadhi (herbs), various fruit-juices, Panchamrut, Kesar-jal, tirtha-jal, Chandan  and flowers.

Abhishek was followed by a delicious-n-marvellous Annakut. Sadguru Purani Swami Shree Bhaktiprakashdasji Swami blessed Shree Vallabhbhai Babariya (Ahmedabad), the Yajman of Pratishtha ceremony.

In the evening, during 09:00pm to 12:00 midnight a grand celebration was performed in the holy presence of Pujyapad Shree Jogi Swamiji, saints and reputed personalities of the society. Sadguru Mahat Swami Shree Devkrishandasji Swami, Shree Navinbhai Dave and other dignitaries lit up the inaugural lamp and Pujya Kothari Swami Shree Harijivandasji Swami, Sadguru Purani Shree Shreeharidasji Swami performed the first Arati. Students of Gurukul Ahmedabad presented Music-Raas, Krishna-lila, Maniyaro-Raas and other cultural Raas. Students of SGVP presented Dothiyo-Raas

During the celebration a splendid welcome was offered to Sadguru Mahant Swami Shree Devkrishnadasji Swami and Sadguru Shastri Shree Madhavpriyadasji Swami on their returning from the Satsang-Yatra of East Africa.

Pujya Jogi Swami boosted the zeal of devotees by his divine presence. Devotees expressed their contentment and had a glimpse of ‘Paramhans Raas’.

New Publications:
Sadguru Shree Nishkulanad Swami created the Holy Scripture Bhaktachintamani, which fulfills the desires of devotees. Seekers recite often Bhaktachintamani which is originally in Gujarati script. The new generation, especially abroad faces difficulty in reading this valuable scripture. For their benefit transliteration of Bhaktachintamani is prepared under the guidance of Pujya Dharmapriyadasji Swami with the untiring efforts of Shree Ghanshyambhai Thesiya and students of Gurukul Ahmedabad. To make reading easy and interesting explanation of phonetics and photographs of Charitra are also included in this book. (To get the original recitation - singing tune a set of six MP3 Cds in the voice of famous singer Shree Hasmukhbhai Patadiya is also published by Gurukul). On this occasion of Sharad-Poornima Pujyapad Shree Jogi Swamiji released this beneficial publication and devotees welcomed it with great zeal and happiness. Pujyapad Shree Jogi Swamiji bestowed first copies to both the elder saints. Pujya Dharmapriyadasji Swami has completed 101 recitations of Bhaktachintamani. Pujyapad Shree Jogi Swamiji blessed him and Shree Ghanshyambhai Thesiya and others who helped in this great publication. An eye-catching calendar was also published with the holy hands of Pjuapad Shree Jogi Swamiji. Sadguru Mahant Swami Shree Devkrishnadasji Swami released an English book ‘willing Energy’ written by Shree Surendra Dass, Principal of SGVP International School.

Shree Bhailalbhai Patel (Bapunagar, Ahmedabad) donated a pair of Chakhadi (an open wooden shoe) to SGVP for the purpose of Darshan to all devotees and visitors. On this marvellous and precious contribution Pujyapad Shree Jogi Swamiji blessed him.

Pujya Purani Shree Balkrishnadasji Swami explained the significance of forthcoming marvellous Shree Harikrishna Maharaj Mahotsav.

Famous magician Junior K.Lal presented astonishing magic show and entertained the devotees.

This grand celebration was sponsored by Vadila Ice-cream group. Shree Nagajibhai Desai, Shree Nasitbhai – Jain dairy group and Shree Ishwarbhai Hirajibhai Punjani were the Yajman of this festival. 

In the end over ten thousand devotees took the Prasad of Dudh-Pauva.
