225th Birth anniversary of Sadguru Shree Gopalanand Swami

Yogiraj Sadguru Shree Gopalanand Swami a great and proficient saint of Shree Swaminarayan Sampraday. Bhagawan Shree Swaminarayan Has handed over the responsibility of entire Sampraday on him. Plenty of occasions are prominent in the Sampraday and other traditions expressing the extra-ordinary spiritual strength of Sadguru Shree Gopalanand Swami. He has bestowed the society with the Pratishtha of Shree Kashtabhanjan Dev at Sarangapur near Gadhpur. By the blessings of Sadguru Shree Gopalanand Swami Shree Kashtabhanjan Dev saves the people from the influence of evil spirits and other crisis. One more gift is Mahapooja which includes the Poojan of Bhagawan Shree Swaminarayan along with Muktas, devotees in a very simple way. This Mahapooja fulfills the desires of devotees. It is notable that on the occasion of marvelous celebration of Shree Harikrishna Maharaj Mahotsav over 1,25,000 group Mahapooja were performed by devotees at various cities, towns and villages.

26 January, 2007 was the 226th birth anniversary of Sadguru Shree Gopalanand Swami. On account of this pious day 226 group Mahapooja were arranged at Gurukul Ahmedabad in the holy presence of Pujyapad Shree Jogi Swamiji. At evening saints, devotees and students performed Mahapooja in prayer hall. Sadguru Purani Swami Shree Bhaktiprakashdasji Swami performed the Poojan of Sadguru Shree Gopalanand Swami.

Sadguru Shastri Shree Madhavpriyadasji Swami explained the importance of the day and glory of Sadguru Shree Gopalananad Swami and blessed all participants.

Shree Ravjibhai Hirani (Landon) took the privileged of this auspicious occasion as a Yajman of this 226 group Mahapooja.

19 Punya-Tithi of Sadguru Shastri Shree Dharmajivandasji Swami

On the occasion of 19th Punyatithi of Sadguru Shastriji Maharaj Shree Dharmajivandasji Swami at Gurukul Ahmedabad saints, students and devotees performed Bhajan for the bliss of Bhagawan Shree Swaminarayan and Pujya Shastriji Maharaj. Beside the individual Bhajan, 19 hours Dhoon was also performed in the divine presence of Pujyapad Shree Jogi Swamiji.Along with Dhoon, Dandavat Pranam and Mantra-Lekhan was also carried out with great fervour of spirituality. Pujyapad Shree Jogi Swamiji blessed them. 

With the intention of social help a blood donation camp was also arranged and 119 bottles of blood was collected.

 Adhik Mas Mahapooja   15 June 2007

Purushottam Mas – the additional month of Hindu calendar which comes after every three years is considered as a pious month especially for performing spiritual activities. In this month, devotees keep themselves busy in reading and listening the holy scriptures and also do incessant chanting along with daily worship. At Gurukul Rajkot and its branches religious discourses on various scriptures and other activities were carried out with devotional fervour. At Gurukul Ahmedabad, Sadguru Purani Swami Shree Bhaktiprakashdasji Swami conducted the discourses on tenth canto of Bhagawatam.

In the end of Adhik Jeshth Mas, a group Mahapooja was also conducted at the construction site of ‘Shree Jogi Swami Prayer Hall and Hostel’. On 15th June 2007, which was the last day of Adhik Mas saints, students and devotees got the benefit of performing Mahapooja. 225 group Mahapoojas were performed.

Pujya Puarani Swami showered his blessings on all participants and Pujya Balkrishnadasji Swami delivered the contextual speech.

At Gurukul Rajkot, Sadguru Purani Shree Shreeharidasji Swami delivered the katha on Shree Hari-Lilamrut in the Morning time. Other saints also narrated the Katha on various topics in evening assembly.
