Pujyapad Shree Jogi Swamiji – a highly realized saint of
Sampraday and shelter of Gurukul family. His is totally
dedicated to the principles of Bhagwan Shree Swaminarayan and
one of the major supporters of Pujya Shastriji Maharaj. He is
manifestation of compassion, penance, devotion and detachment in
materialism. Today at the age of 103 years only with the grace
of Shreeji Maharaj he is passing perfectly normal life
absolutely amalgamated in Shreeji Maharaj. His divine presence
nourishes seekers and inspires for the path of ultimate
salvation and pleasure.

Entire Gurukul family naturally prays for his long and divine
presence among it. Just as a prayer to Almighty Bhagawan Shree
Swaminarayan ‘Shree Jogi Swami Mangal Parva’ was
organised during 20th to 22nd July 2007 by the learned scholars
and Rushikumars of Darshanam Sanskrit Mahavidyalay, SGVP on
behalf of Gurukul family. For three days saints, students and
scholars performed recitation of several Vedic Stotras, Mantra
and Scriptures. Moreover, in the Vedic Yagna Ahuties were
offered along with various Vedic Suktas, Stotras and Mantras.
For three days entire atmosphere was full of pious influence of
Vedic recitations and divinity. On first day Mangal Parva was
started with the Parayan (recitation) of Vedic Stotras and
Vishnu-Sahsra-Nam. On the second day during the ritual of
‘Rajopachar’ various royal offering were presented to Bhagwan
Shree Swaminarayan along with Vedic narrations. It was a really
divine performance of presenting Veda-Seva (recitation of Ruchas
from all four Vedas), Shastra_Seva (presentations from
scriptures and Darshan Shastras), Puran-Seva, Ashatak, Chhatra,
Chamar, Vyajan, Darspan (mirror), Music, Bhajan, Dance etc, to
Bhagawan. On the day of Puranahuti in the presence of many
devotees from surrounding places Pujyapad Shree Jogi Swamij,
saints and Pandits offered the last Ahuties and prayers.

As
per the rituals of Vedic Yagna, residuals of offerings such as
Tirtha-jal, Abhishek-Jal, etc have to pour on the Yajman as a
Yagna-Prasad. It is also known as Avbruth-Snan. Alternatively
bath in Shrine is also accepted as per convenience. During this
Mangal-Parva participants took the divine privileged to have the
Darshan of Jogi Swami taking Avbhruth-Snan wit the residuals of
Yagna.
