Magh - Snan

The month of Magh-snan (from Poornima of Posh to Poornima of Maha) is the time of extreme cold in Indian continent. However according to the Indian scriptures it is the best time to bath with cold water in early in the morning. This is called as Magh-snan. Bhagawan Shree Swaminarayan Has also stated the importance of Magh-snan in Satsangi-Jivan. Scientifically also it is proved now that Magh-snan is one of the best way to remain fit through out the year.

On being inspired by the saints performing Magh-snan, in spite of hot water facility students do Magh-snan early in the morning.
