Patriotism – Since ancient time the tradition of Gurukul always promotes the patriotism in students and society. It is the point of proud that we are belonging to a great country Bharat where Bhagawan Himself wants to take birth to protect it from negatives.

In the same tradition, at all branches of Gurukul Rajkot, celebrations of national day, patriotic programmes and supportive activities are subjected to inculcate the nationalism in students and society. On 58th republic day of India students of Gurukul Ahmedabad and SGVP celebrated the occasion with great fervour nationalism.

When the brush of sunbeams was painting the sky and earth, the eminent dignitaries, staff and students assembled at SGVP ground to salute the Indian National Flag. First of all the prayer was invoked to make the ambient atmosphere more sacred and divine.  SGVP top luminaries  gave a warm welcome to chief guest Shree Mansingh Chauhan (NIS), Sr. Football Coach (SAG), guest of honor Lt. Col. Anil Choudhari (Commanding Officer Gujarat Battalion, NCC Ahmedabad) and Lt. Col. Bobosingh Admin Officer (Gujarat Battalion, NCC Ahmedabad).

Sadguru Shastri Shree Madhavpriyadasji Swami and chief guest unfurled the National flag. National Anthem and National Song were sung with great patriotic fervour. March-past was performed by students of Four Houses just after offering the guard-of-Honor. Dharma house won the first position in march-past performance.
