rich treasure of omni beneficial knowledge, is considered as the
supreme Guru in Indian tradition. Just out of compassion and
sympathy, Bhagawan Shree Ved Vyas has bestowed the world with
the knowledge and path of social betterment as well as eternal
pleasure of salvation. To render the conception of affection
towards this invaluable gift Ashadhi Poornima is
celebrated as Vyas Poornima or Guru Poorniama in Indian
tradition.
As a disciple or seeker, true Guru is the only personality to
lead one to the God. Guru Poornima is the day to remember and
accept the obligations of Guru as a grateful disciple.
Gurudev Shastriji Maharaj Shree Dharmajivandasji Swami was the
great-realised Guru not only for Gurukul family but for all
seekers of spirituality. Pujya Purani Swami Shree
Premprakashdasji Swami, an image of love and pity was the loving
mother of all students and disciples. Pujyapad Shree Jogi
Swamiji is showering his compassion for every one. Entire
Gurukul family is fortunate for having such great saints as
leaders for the path of spirituality.
As obliged disciples, Gurukul family celebrated the occasion of
Guru Poornima to worship Gurudev Shastriji Maharaj, Pujya Purani
Swami and Pujya Jogi Swamiji at SGVP with great devotional
fervour and pleasure.
Thousands of devotees from various regions of Saurastra, Kutch &
Guajarat - Rajkot, Junagadh, Amreli, Una, Surat, Vapi,
Himmatnagar, Khakhariya, Surendranagar, Morbi, Amhedabad,
Vadodara, Khambhat, Bharuch and Mumbai, Nagpur, Hyderabad, Delhi
also from UK and US took the privilege for Guru-Vandana in the
divine presence of Pujyapad Shree Jogi Swamiji.
Students and devotees performed poojan with various kinds of
garlands and articles and expressed their love & affections.
Pujya Purani Shree Hariswarupdasji Swami narrated the importance
of Guru in his unique way. Sadguru Shastri Shree
Madhavpriyadasji Swami explained the importance of invaluable
gift from Bhagawan Shree Ved Vyas and holy tradition of Guru-Parampara.
Sadguru Purani Swami Shree Bhaktiprakashdasji Swami blessed all
participants and Sadguru Purani Shree Balkrishnadasji Swami and
Shree Laxmanbhai Adroja delivered the occasional speech.
In the end all, participants performed the poojan of Gurudev
Shastriji Maharaj, Purani Swami and elder saints.
