Sadguru Shastri Shree Dharmajivandasji Swami started the tradition of Gyansatra at Gurukul Ahmedabad in the year of establishment of Ahmedabad branch. In this divine way of Satsang 32nd Gyansatra was organised during August 02 to 09, 2008 in the holy presence of Pujyapad Shree Jogi Swamiji.

With the blessings of Sadguru Purani Swami Shree Bhaktiprakashdasji Swami & Sadguru Shastri Shree Madhavpriyadasji Swami and under the guidance of Sadguru Purani Shree Balkrishnadasji Swami, various spiritual celebrations were carried out with devotional fervour.

Shree Harjibhai Thakarshibhai Hirapara and son Shree Pareshbhai, Ahmedabd (Village Tori) were the chief Yajmans of this 32nd Gyansatra in the pious memory of Father Shree Thakarshibhai Kalabhai Hirapara, Mother Shree Sakarben and Brother Shree Keshavbhai.

Salient features of the 32nd Gyansatra

24 hours incessant Dhoon

In the beginning of Gyansatra, 24 Hours incessant Dhoon was recited from Aug 01, 03:30 pm to Aug 02, 03:30 pm. It was followed by poojan of Pothiji at Yajman’s home. A warm welcome was offered to Pothiji at Gurukul along with the Raas, Kirtan, Dhoon and band of Gurukul.

         

         

         

         

         

Raj-Upachar ceremony

After the Poojan of Pothiji, the learned Pandits of Darshanam Sanskrit Mahavidyalay performed a marvellous event of Raj-Upachar with Vedic rituals. In this sacred trend, Royal offerings were offered to Bhagawan as per Vedic tradition. Prayers from all four Vedas & various scriptures, Nrutya, devotional songs, Music, Chhatra, Chamar, Fan, Royal Dress, ornaments, Mirror, flower & garlands, Arati were offered to Shree Ghansyam Maharaj. Shree Nandkishorbhai Gopalbhai Kanzariya and Shree Sureshbhai Gopalbhai Kanzariya (Memaka - Ahmedabad) were the Yajmans of this Raj-Upachar ceremony.

Daily Katha

During the Gyansatra Shastri Shree Bhaktivedantdasji and Shastri Shree Vedantswarpdasji delivered the Katha on scripture ‘Purushottam Prakash’.

         

         

Vyakhyan-Mala

Purani Shree Hariswarupdasji Swami explained the Vachanamrut (Ga. 1st Sesion, 76) in his unique way of interpretation. Other learned saints delivered the discourses on various scriptures written by Sadguru Shree Nishkulanand Swami. Purushottam Prakash, Sneh-Geeta, Hari-Vicharan, Haribal-Geeta, Dhiraj-Akhyan, Hruday-Prakash, Yam-Dand, Kalyan-Nirnay, Bhakti-Nidhi, Chosath-Padi, Vachan-Vidhi are the scriptures on which discourses were held. Devotees were highly satisfied with this Vyakhyan-Mala carried out by young and erudite saints.

Daily Shree Hari-Yag & Daily Rudra-yag

Daily in the morning, the days started with performance of Vishnu-yag in front of Shree Nilkanth Varni and Rudra-Yag at Shiv-Darbar. Many devotees took the privilege of these yagnas.

         

         

         

         

         

         

         

Daily Kirtan-Bhakti in new prayer hall

Second session was starting with the Kirtan Bhakti during 02:30 pm to 03:30pm. Various kinds of Kirtans written by Nand saints were sung with music and Rass. Hindola was arranged to swing the Thakoraji.

         

Thakar-Thali

On Aug 05, in the last session of the day, Thakar-Thali, a popular event of Katch was organised. Non-stop Kirtan and Raas was performed by saints, devotees and students. Various Raas were also performed by students of Gurukul Ahmedabad. Pujaypad Shree Jogi Swamiji graced this event with his holy presence and blessed the Yajmans and all participants of Gyansatra. Dr. Vipulbhai Patel (Ahmedabad) took the privilege for the Yajman-ship of this Thakar-Thali.

Alumnae & youth assembly

On Aug 08, an assembly was organised for alumnae (ex-students) and youths of Gurukul. In the holy presence of Purani Swami Shree Bhaktiprakashdasji Swami, Shastri Shree Madhavpriydasji Swami, Purani Shree Balkrishnadasji Swami and other saints, ex-students remembered and recollected the past memories of Gurukul life. Management trainer Shree Sureshbhai Patel and well-known educational personality Shree Jaydevbhai Sonagara explained the importance of Gurukul education in current era. Mahila Manch

On Aug 07, assembly of Mahila Manch was arranged in the holy presence of Shree Sankhya-Yogi from Dudhala and Amreli. With the inspiring discourses Pujya Sankhya-yogies blessed all participants.

         

         

         

Satsang Dayro & cultural programmes

On Aug 04, in the last session, famous folk artist & ex-student of Gurukul, Shree Sairam Dave presented Satsang Entertainment in very delightful mood. Shree Bhaveshbhai Bakhtariya also presented few talks.

On Aug, 05 students of SGVP International School and Darshanam Sanskrit Mahavidyalay performed the praiseworthy programme of ‘Incredible India’ presenting the variety of Indian culture in a very unique way. Programme received the sound response.

Pujya Niranjandasji Swami demonstrated a presentation explaining the scripture ‘Vedanta’ philosophy, a source of knowledge of wisest Indian Culture.

On Aug 07, students of Gurukul Ahmedabad also performed the cultural programmes expressing the Satsang, culture, patriotism and social values.

Blood donation camp

In 48th blood donation camp organised by Gurukul 183 bottles of blood were collected. The blood camp was conducted in association with Lions club and Leo club of Ahmedabad.

         

Blessings

Sadguru Purani Swami Shree Bhaktiprakashdasji Swami graced the occasion with blessings. Saints from Vadatal, Junagadh, Dhoraji, Bhuj and other places graced the occasion.

         

         

                   

         

         

          

Poornahuti

On last day, Aug 09, Yajmans worshiped Shreeji Maharaj with Tulashi-Patra and Janmangal Stotra. Yajman Shree Haribhai Thakarashibhai Hirapara expressed the feelings of great satisfaction and pleasure. Other guests also gave occasional speech. Pujya Purani Swami and elder saints blessed Yajman.
