Jalzilani festival is a celebration to welcome and worship the new rainwater in reservoirs. As per the Purans, devotees worship Bhagawan Narayan sleeping in the ocean on this day of Ekadaszhi.

With the blessings of Pujyapad Shree Jogi Swamiji and under guidance of Sadguru Purani Shree Balkrihnadasji Swami, Gurukul Parivar celebrates this festival on the bank of river Machhundri every year at pious and ancient shrine Droneshwar Mahadev (Una District), Nagher region. Great Rushies Shree Vashishtha and Markandey have performed the Pratishtha of Mahadevji on the bank of this river. Pandavas also visited this place during the time of Van-vas. A flow of water is continuously doing Abhishek of Mahadevji from the ancient time.

At this pious place, PPDD Rakeshprasadji Maharaj graced the celebration with his holy presence and blessings as a chairperson of the festival. On this occasion thousands of devotees from surrounding regions and cities such as Rajkot, Ahmedabad, Junagadh, Surat, Mumbai participated in this celebration with devotional fervour.

Students of Shree Dharmajivan School, Fareda and Gurukul Ahmedabad presented cultural and patriotic programmes. PPDD Acharyashree and saints performed four Arties and the boat of Thakorji floated on the crystal clear water of the river.

PPDD Maharajshree blessed guests, Yajmans of festival, Trustees of Gurukul and all participants. Pujya Sadguru Purani Swami Shree Bhaktiprakashdasji Swami delivered the inspirational speech and Pujya Balkrishnadasji Swami and Trustee Shree Navinbhai Dave delivered the contextual speeches.

Shastri Shree Nautamprakashdasji Swami (Vadtal), Kothari Shree Devnandandasji Swami (Junagadh), Shastri Shree Vishwavallabhdasji Swami (Rustambag, Surat), Shree D G Zalavadia (Collector, Amreli), Shree Ashvinikumar (Collector, Junagadh), Shree T G Zalavadia (Dy. Commissioner, Ahmedabad) and other dignitaries graced the celebration with their presence.

Shree D K Shah (Mumbai), Shree Sandeepkumar & Shree Dhimantkumar (Poonam Showroom, Una) were the Yajmans of this festival.
