Sadguru Shastriji Maharaj Shree Dharmajivandasji Swami re-established the Gurukul tradition of Indian culture as per the command of Bhagawan Shree Swaminarayan for the propagation of Sadvidya. In Ahmedabad Pujya Shastriji Maharaj founded the Gurukul especially for the youth. Since the establishment various kinds of spiritual, social and educational activities are conducted under the guidance of Sadguru Purani Shree Balkrishnadasji Swami. With the flow of time number of students and devotees participating in various activities increased widely. The prayer hall constructed was too small to conduct various spiritual, social events and celebrations. Moreover it was damaged deeply with earthquake 2001. In spite of continuous consideration and restoration, construction of new and enormous prayer hall was indeed required. In the holy presence of Pujyapad Brahmnishtha Shree Jogi Swamiji, with the assistance and aid of devotees from India and abroad construction of gorgeous ‘Pujya Jogi Swami Satsang Bhavan and Prayer hall’ was completed recently. On the divine occasion of Pratishtha of Shree Ghanshyam Maharaj worshipped many times by HH Shastriji Maharaj, along with Dev of four famous shrines of India with the holy hands of Pujyapad Shree Jogi Swamiji a divine celebration of UDGHATAN MAHOTSAV was held at Gurukul Ahmedabad.

With the divine blessings of Pujapad Shree Jogi Swamiji and inspiration of Sadguru Shastri Shree Madhavpriyadasji Swami and Sadguru Purani Swami Shree Bhaktiprakashdasji Swami, under the guidance of Sadguru Purani Shree Balkrishnadasji Swami Celebration was held during April 10 to 14, 2008.
