In the pious presence of Pujyapad Shree Jogi
Swamiji, the third annual Pratishtha Utsav of Shree Ram-Shyam
and Ghanashyam was celebrated at SGVP along with Shakotsav on
the auspicious day of Vasant Panchami February 11, 2008.
On February 10 a holy procession – Jal-Yatra
war arranged to welcome and worship the holy water from the
Prasadi Step-well of Adalaj and River Narmda.
Vasant Panchami is the day on which Shreeji
Maharaj bestowed the earth with the Shikshapatri – a code of
conduct for the benevolence of every one in the universe. The
same day is the birthday of Sadguru Shree Brahmanand Swami &
Sadguru Shree Nishkulanand Swami and the foundation day of Shree
Swaminarayan Gurukul. Shreeji Maharaj was celebrating this day
many a times with colours (Rangotsav). On this sacred day in the
early morning Pratishtha poojan was performed and all saints and
devotees took the privilege of divine Darshan of marvellous
Abhishek of Shree Ghansyam Maharaj, Shree Radha-Krishna Dev and
Shree Sita-Ramji. Along with chanting of Vedic Stotras,
Janmangal Stotra, Abhishek was performed with Panchamrut,
Kesar-Jal, Tirth-Jal, Chandan, juices of 108 herbal medicines &
fruits and flower petals.
A recitation of Shikshapatri was performed
in-group and Sadguru Shastri Shree Madhavpriyadasji Swami and
Sadguru Purani Swami Shree Bhaktiprakashadasji Swami along with
the Yajmans and all devotees worshipped the Shikshapatri with
Tulasi-Patra and the recitation of Janmangal.
It was followed by the marvellous Annakut
Darshan with variety of delicious dishes. The enthusiasm and
pleasure of devotees knew no bounds when Pujyapad Shree Jogi
Swamiji bestowed his delightful Darshan. Pujyapad Shree Jogi
Swamoji performed the Aarati of Annakut and blessed the Yajmans
and all devotees.
While addressing, Sadguru Shastri Shree
Madhavpriyadasji Swami explained the importance of the day
consisting many auspicious coincidences for the Gurukul Parivar.
Sadguru Purani Shree Balkrishnadasji Swami gave the occasional
speech. In the blessing speech, Sadguru Purani Swami Shree
Bhaktiprakashadasji Swami narrated the divine Shakotsav Lila of
Shreeji Maharaj.
In the end, all participants took the Bhojan-Prasad
of Shakotsav.
Shree Virajibhai Paghadal (US) was the Yajman
of Pratishtha-Utsav Abhishek, Dr. Vinodbhai Pardanani (US) was
the Yajman of Annakut and Shree Bhavanbhai Vaghasiya (Village :
Medi) was the Yajman of Shakotsav.
