Gurukul Parivar celebrates festival of Sharad Poornima at SGVP every year. In the holy presence of Pujyapad Shree Jogi Swamiji, annual Pratishtha Utsav of Shree Ghanshyam Maharaj and Sharad Poornima were celebrated with devotional fervour. Thousands of devotees from Ahmedbad, Rajkot, Junagadh, Himmatnagar, Vapi, Valsad, Dahanu, Panvel, Kutch, Una, Vadodara, Surat, Mumbai, Nagpur, Puna and other cities, towns and surrounding regions participated with great zeal and devotion.

Sadguru Purani Swami Shree Bhaktiprakashdasji Swami, Sadguru Shastri Shree Madhavpriyadasji Swami, Sadguru Purani Shree Balkrishnadasji Swami, Trustee Shree Navinbhai Dave and other guests lit up the lamp and Sharad Utsav was inaugurated. Pujya Purani Swami performed the first Arati.

Rushikumars of Darshanam Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya presented Raas. Students of International School performed the Raas.

MP3 CDs and DVDs of discourses delivered by Pujya Purani Shree Hariswarupdasji Swami were released. 'Chyavanprash' made up of pure herbals prepared by ‘Amrutarogyam’, SGVP was also launched by holy hands of Pujya Purani Swami.

Students of Gurukul Ahmedabad performed various Raas.

In the end, all devotees enjoyed the Prasad of Milk-Pauva.

Shree Hasmukhbhai Zaverbhai Patel (US) was the chief Yajman and Shree Nagjibhai Vahjibhai Desai, Shree Ishwarbhai Hirjibhai Punjani, Shree Bipinbhai Balubhai Kikani, Shree Aalapbhai Ashwainbhai Shah, Shree Ghanshyambhai Manilalbhai Thakkar, Shree Dhan-Lakshmi Trading were the co-Yajmans of the celebration.

On Oct, 15 Sharad Poornima was celebrated at Bapunagar, Ahmedabad.

Pujyapad Shree Jogi Swamiji also graced the occasion with his graceful presence and performed Arati. Students of Gurukul presented various Raas to make the celebration a memorable event.
