Guru Poornima, the day of
Ashadh Poornima is a day to remember the benevolences of Bhagwan
Ved Vyas, who propagated the true and beneficial knowledge for
the betterment of all lives on the
earth. As Guru shapes the life of disciple to attain the best
goal of human life, disciple is always under obligations of
Guru. On this day of Guru Poornima disciple expresses his
reverence and gratitude towards Gurudev, which is only thing he
can do in turn.
In the holy presence of Pujyapad Shree Jogi Swamiji, Gurukul
Parivar experiences a great shelter and warmth on the path of
ultimate goal of human life. As every year, at SGVP Gurukul
Parivar gathered for the poojan and Guru-Vandana towards Sadguru
Shastriji Maharaj Shree Dharmajivandasji Swami, Purani Swami
Shree Premprakashdasji Swami and Pujyapad Shree Jogi Swamiji, in
the holy presence of Sadguru Shastri Shree Madhavpriyadasji
Swami.
It was started with the Poojan of Charan-Paduka (Chankhadi) of
Shreeji Maharaj along with Vedic recitations. Sadguru Purani
Swami Shree Bhaktiprakashdasji Swami and Pujya Madhavpriyadasji
Swami performed the Poojan of Thakoraji, Chankhadi and carried
out poojan of Sastiji Maharaj and Purani Swami. Pujyapad Shree
Jogi Swamiji graced the occasion with his holy Darshan. Along
with saints all devotees took the privilege to perform the
Poojan of Pujyapad Shree Jogi Swamiji.
As a long waited occasion
and as an existence of heartily wish of thousands of follower of
Gurukul Parivar, in the holy presence of Pujyapad Shree Jogi
Swamiji, Sadguru Purani Swami Shree Bhaktiprakashdasji Swami, a
leading saint of Gurukul Parivar announced Sadguru Shastri
Shree Madhavpriyadasji Swami as a Guru of entire Gurukul Parivar
as a successor of Sadguru Shastriji Maharaj Shree
Dharmajivandasji Swami. Sadguru Purani Shree Balkrishnadasji
Swami and Purani Shree Hariswarupdasji Swami performed Poojan of
Sadguru Shastri Madhavpriyadasji Swami. All devotees of Gurukul
Parivar welcomed this event with great joy and enthusiasm.
Saints, trustees, leading Haribhaktas and all devotees also
performed Poojan of Swamiji.
Purani Shree Hariswarupdasji Swami explained the role of Guru as
a Brahma, Vishnu & Mahesh in the life of disciple. In the
blessing Speech Sadguru Shastri Shree Madhavpriyadasji Swami
said that there are two kinds of traditions believing in
formless God and God with divine form. In Vaishnavism majorly
worships God with divine form. And guru leads them on this path
of salvation. Guru is indeed necessary as a guide but on other
hand Guru must avoid the illusion to be in the place of God.
Sadguru Purani Shree Balkrishnadasji Swami also memorised
obligations of Gurudev and Pujya Purani Swami Bhaktiprakashdasji
Swami blessed all participants.
Thousands of alumnae,
devotees from the various regions of Saurastra, Kutch and
Gujarat and adjacent states took this divine benefit of great
event of Guru-Vandana and became fortunate.
