Shakotsav - Gurukul Chharodi

It was the devotion of Sura Khachar and His wife Shantibai that encouraged Lord Swaminarayan to perform Shakotsav at Loya for first time in the history of Sampraday and the tradition of divine festival in the form of Shakotsav was beginned from that vary day. To keep live this tradition started by Shree Hari himself, Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul, Rajkot and its branches organises this festival every year in grand manner.

Patotsav - Ahmedabad, 2003

On the 27th November 2003 8th Patotsav of Ghanshyam Maharaj at Ahmedabad Gurukul was very delightfully celebrated on the divine and auspicious occasion of “Vachnamrit Jayanti” in the holy company of pujyapad Bhagvatparayan Shree Jogi Swamiji, Sdg. Mahant Swami Shree Devkrishnadasji Swami and other holy saints. 

Annakut Darshan & Diwali Utsav - 2003

Deepalvali was celebrated at Gurukul in the atmosphere of great pleasure. Surroundings were decorated as described in the 6th Vachanamrutam of Kariyani Prakaran. At Gurukul Surat  Shreeji prasadi divan was used for Shreeji Maharaj.

On the day of Chaturdashi (Kali Chaudash - 24 th Oct.) Chhopada poojan was also performed at Gurukul according to scriptural rituals.

Sharad Poornima - Chharodi, 2003

Sharad Poornima was celebrated on Thursday, the 9th October at SGVP Chharodi on a grand scale.
A special stage was erected on this occasion. Lord Shree Swaminarayan was the center of attraction on the beautifully set stage. To His left were the senior Saints & Guests mainly comprising of Govt. Officials, Businessmen, Political -Leaders & NIRs.

Ekadashi Utsav - Kenton (UK), 2003

On Sunday 21/09/2003, the youths from the Bal Yuvak Mandal presented a wonderful Ekadashi programme at the Shri Kutch Satsang Swaminarayan Temple Kenton. Many youth participated in this event. There were many question raised on Ekadashi. What is Ekadashi, why Ekadashi, how to do Ekadashi and what is the history behind it.

Gurupurnima, 2003
