enlightened your mind then it is subject to be
tested. But a devotee who remains undisturbed and
continuous to stroll on the divine path shown by
Lord is always protected by the almighty God. So you
also worship you God with the depth of your heart. |
Dear
children! Today I am going to narrate you and interesting
story of child devotee Bechar. Who was completely engrossed
in the bright world of Satsang due to the guidance of
Sadguru Shree Gopalanand Swami.
An ardent Sastsangi, follower of divine path shown by God
and a regular practitioner or meditation state- Bechar used
to reside at Vadodara. In spite of his tender is, this
devotee had acquired abundant blessings of saints. By the
blissful mercy of Lord Shree Swaminarayan this child had
achieved the state of reverence.
The child had secured the very tuff to achieve meditation
state- which even after Arduous efforts is un attainable. In
the meditation state, this child Bechar would reach the
heavenly abode of the almighty God by chanting his name.
Their in Akshardhama, he would bless his eyes with the pious
Darshana of celestial idol of the Lord, then perform the
salutation by prostrating all the eight limbs, listen to the
heavenly discourse and enjoy the happiness of idol. When he
thought of coming out of this divine state of pleasure,
merciful Lord Shreeji Maharaj would provide him with some or
other edible sweet which is offered to the deity.
After coming out of this divine state, Bechar would share
these edibles with his friends. When he informed all that he
has got these edibles from his meditation state, all his
friends used to get surprise.
Once the people of that place got into a discussion.
Somebody say, 'This small boy meditates and reaches the
heavenly abode of the almighty!' The other said, 'Yes, he
even brings sweets given by the Lord!' Third one said, 'But,
we can only believe when he does this in front of us!' 'We
should test him.' Everybody present their showed their
consent in the statement.
All together came to Bechar. They said, 'Look Bechar, we all
are going to take your clothes off. And still if you manage
to meditate and bring the usual edibles then we are going to
believe you and your God.' These jocular people took Bechar
to a solitary place and snatched away his clothes.
Unperturbed Bechar got engrossed in his meditation. Within
next few seconds he was in the Akshardham. On seeing naked
Bechar Lord Shreeji Maharaj burst into laughter and enquired
the reason for his condition. Bechar says, 'Lord! The people
wanted to test me, they snatched away my clothes and asked
me to bring the edibles which you usually provide me, when I
am to return, so Oh, Lord! Please provide me with the same,
so that I can prove them that my Lord Swaminarayan is an
eternal truth, a supreme being.'
Lord gave him three sweets. Bechar came out of his
meditation state. The people present at the scene where
totally stunned. Many of them started praising the devotee.
And many of them accepted the refuge of Lord Swaminarayan.
Dear children, when true light of knowledge enlightened your

path shown by Lord is always protected by the almighty God.
So you also worship you God with the depth of your heart.
And achieve his blithe. Only then you can acquire the true
goal of this human incarnation.
PRIDE OF GURUKUL
The Ex student of Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul, Mr.
Purushottam Jiyani has achieved noteworthy achievements
during his secondary education at Hyderabad. He secured
Silver Medal in south zone cluster level of Olympics high
jump and a Gold Medal in running. He had represented Andhra
Pradesh state in Volleyball as a captain of all India CBSE
zone of central school. Also he had been felicitated by
honorable mayor of Hyderabad for representing India against
Srilanka during All India National Athletics meet.
Now he is all set to leave for Australia to pursue further
studies. So Purani Swami blessed hi with a warm farewell.
